First Day

Today is Cassandra's first day of daycare.  Previously, she has spent several hours in the care of Daddy or Grandma but today she will be with "Strangers" at the daycare and Mommy will not be close.  There are eight other little munchkins at the daycare and she is of course the youngest.  She doesn't seem to be letting it affect her.




Sleep (No, Really)

When a new baby arrives, you get a lot of questions about sleep.  'How much sleep are you getting?' and 'Does she sleep through the night?' are the most common.  Well, last night she slept for over eight hours straight, the first time she has slept through the night. The amusing thing is that this is the first time that she has worn this outfit.

It says "Mommy's Alarm Clock."  Apparently, the alarm function was broken.

Happy Baby

We managed to catch Cassandra smiling for us.  She was enjoying sitting up like Mommy and Daddy.

Baby Hiccups

Cassandra really has taken a shine to the Bumpo.  Despite the hiccups, she is having a ball.

Being A Big Girl

Cassandra had so much fun sitting at table that we broke out the Bumpo baby seat for her.  She likes to sit up and look around.

She Has The Whole Set

Cassandra got to meet Uncle Greg today.  She has now met all her immediate family from the Wendel side.  Because she was born on her own schedule (in other words, late), she missed him on his last time through Kansas City.

She was also trying out her new high chair tonight.  This is the first time she sat at the table instead of being held at the table.

Cassandra has the men in her life wrapped around her finger.

Cassandra had fun entertaining her uncles and grandparents.  She has taken to smacking her lips, particularly as a way to communicate hunger.  I'll post a video as soon as I can capture it.

Grandma's Birthday

Cassandra attended Grandma's birthday party today.
