One of Cassandra's favorite toys is her stacking cups. If we stack them to put them away, she loves to take them apart and spread them allover the room. If we stack them into a into a tower, she loves to come knock it over. Sometimes she knocks the tower over different ways. She can knock them down, grab a cup on the bottom, or press down on the top cup until the tower explodes out in some random direction.
However, she has come up with a way to play with them that I don't think the manufacturer intended. The cups have holes in the bottom to allow them to drain so they can be used as a bath toy. Well, little Ms. Cassandra puts the cup over her mouth and under chin and uses the cup to whistle. Took Daddy a while to figure out where the noise was coming from.

Thanksgiving With The Family
Cassandra wasn't sure what Thanksgiving was about but seemed to enjoy the time spent with family...for the most part.

She seemed to enjoy the slide a bit more. It helped that she was told by Uncle John how much fun she was having after getting to the bottom of the slide.

Nap Time
Cassandra has gone to only one two hour nap a day. Unfortunately, she has to be convinced that the nap is actually in her best interest. One way to help get her to sleep is to get her nice and warm with a blanket.

Curious Cassandra
Cassandra is a very curious little girl. She is especially fascinated by anything that goes on outside. Since we live on a corner lot, we have a view of the entire cul-de-sac outside our family room.
Janice took this picture of Cassandra and I looking out the back window a short time later. She says we look the same from the front and the back.

Strong and Confident
Cassandra continues to grow and become more confident. She is getting better at walking too.
One of her favorite toys is Three Men in a Tub. Grandma Hodges brought it over. This is an older toy from before Mommy was born. The three men? The butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker. Don't you love the "orange ninja wallpaper" in the background?
The teachers at her daycare have taught her to associate "Good Job" and clapping. When she does something really well or that we like, we tell her good job and clap. She claps and smiles with us like this:

New Sweater
The wife of one of Janice's coworkers made a sweater and matching hat for her to wear. It goes well with the green dress, doesn't it?
Oh, did we mention she is walking. She can regularly make it across a room without falling although the number of falling incidences tends to rise when she gets tired. It is not a bad barometer for nap time.
